Origami attempt

Not had too much of interest going on recently, hence the lack of blogging. I did attempt some origami though and here is the result (after many screwed up attempts). Lots of illustrations planned for the next few weeks so I'll be posting those up soon. Enjoy!

Rob Ryan exhibition

I went to a Rob Ryan exhibition this evening. He's an artist who creates his work by cutting up paper, it's very heartwarming and humble. The exhibition was small and friendly, Rob was there himself and there was free booze, altogether a brilliant evening. I even came back with a few goodies (sorry the photos aren't very good, iphone!)

My favourite dress!

I wanted to share my favourite dress with you all. I don't get the chance to wear it very often as I never go anywhere smart but last night I had the opportunity to dress up. It's a vintage 50's waitress style dress that I bought a few years ago and I absolutely love it.

Japan day

I've been feeling a bit fed up recently (must be the time of the year) so my boyfriend planned a surprise day for me on Saturday and took me to a Japan day event. It was about celebrating all things Japanese and I loved it! There was so many people dressed in tradition clothes and lots of yummy food. I even came home with a new geisha ornament to add to my collection :)

Cornwall 09 Summer Mini Fun!

Back from a great week in Cornwall. The weather was pretty wet and foggy, typical for Cornwall but we didn't care as we came prepared. Felt really relaxed being out of London and just driving around in the mini and exploring. The scenery around this part of the UK is just breath taking, I forget how beautiful some parts of this country are. So proud that the mini did 650 miles in one week and didn't break down or have any problems and the old girl is 22 yrs old, go Bella! Enjoy!
